Description
Nephew reacts to death of 'suffering' uncle in right-to-die case Frenchman Vincent Lambert, at the centre of a bitter right-to-die legal feud that has raged for a decade, passed away in hospital on Thursday eight days after doctors removed his life support and nearly 11 years after he was victim of a road accident. His nephew Francois Lambert, who has been in favour of stopping care for years, feels "no anger or hatred" against his uncle's parents but said: "It is not sad. It is rationality gaining the upper hand. This was a human being who was suffering and the various theatrical gestures did not mean much." IMAGES AND SOUNDBITES
