Erdogan pays tribute to Srebrenica victims During a visit to Serbia, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan pays tribute to the victims of the July 1995 Srebrenica massacre. The ceremony in front of the Bosnian presidency in Sarajevo paid tribute to 33 newly identified victims whose remains will be buried near Srebrenica on Thursday. More than 8,000 Muslim men and boys were killed by Bosnian Serb forces in the Srebrenica massacre, the worst atrocity in Europe since World War II and deemed genocide by international justice.
