'Raucous' seagulls: Parisians' new noisy neighbours The first pairs of gulls arrived in Paris in the 1990s and today there are between 50-60 pairs of them, with a litter of about three young per year. But the birds' growing cacophony is ruffling many feathers in the French capital.
