Thomas Cook France says nearly 10,000 customers on holiday The French subsidiary of the bankrupt tour operator Thomas Cook says that 9,842 of its customers are currently on holiday, while explaining that the group's situation did not lead to the immediate insolvency of Thomas Cook France. Thomas Cook has set up an emergency hotline for French customers currently on holiday and has warned those scheduled to fly Monday not to travel "to avoid any further difficulties".
