Shooting exchanges and smoke billowing over the city of Ras-Al Ain Sporadic gunfire is being heard in the border town of Ras al-Ain in northern Syria on the Turkish border. This comes three days before the end of a truce which had been brokered by the United States in Ankara earlier this week. Turkey had agreed to suspend its Syria offensive for five days to allow Kurdish forces to withdraw from a safe zone along the border. IMAGES
