Man killed by police in Paris had "no terrorist" links, says public prosecutor A 42-year-old man shot dead by police in Paris's business district of La Défense early Friday morning had "no terrorist" links, says the public prosecutor of Nanterre, Catherine Denis, during a press conference. The man was shot dead as he threatened to kill police officers. He was described by Denis as being "psychologically unbalanced", having escaped from a psychiatric hospital earlier in 2019. SOUNDBITES
