As Christmas approaches, still no room, or homes, for Teil earthquake victims A little more than a month after the earthquake that devastated their town, a quarter of the inhabitants of Teil, in Ardèche, are still without accommodation for the end of year festivities. "It's still very hard psychologically," explains one inhabitant as the Secours Populaire, a non-profit organization operating on donations and legacy funds which is dedicated to fighting poverty and discrimination, distributes toys and Christmas hampers.
