Holocaust survivor Samuel Marder shares his story Samuel Marder was deported to a camp in Ukraine when he was 10-years-old with his family. He was kept there three and a half years and saw his father died. He then moved to the US to pursue musical studies in New York and started a successful career as a violonist. During a presentation of the German edition of his book, 'Devils among Angels', he talks about life in the camp and how he tried for years to forget the hardships he faced there.
