Hungary's Orban says EPP losing identity, criticises EU Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban launches an attack on the European Union and the main political family in the European Parliament, the People's Party (EPP) of which he is a member, albeit suspended, during a conference in Rome of the European far right political parties. The European Parliament said last month that the rule of law had worsened in Hungary - along with Poland - and that the countries were not aligned with "EU founding values" such as judicial independence, freedom of expression and anti-corruption.
