Description
Unpublished collection of Sobibor photos unveiled in Berlin Hundreds of unpublished photos taken in the Sobibor extermination camp will deepen our knowledge of the crimes committed by the Nazis, historians say. Historian Martin Cüppers says the police have concluded that it is "probable" that two photos show the former guard John Demjanjuk at the death camp. Ukrainian-American Demjanjuk was convicted of being an accessory to the murder of nearly 30,000 Jews at Sobibor by a German court in 2011. He died while his appeal was pending. IMAGES AND SOUNDBITES
