1944; 8th September: People's Court Trial Concerning Plot of 20th July / Judge Roland Freisler Presiding. Josef Wirmer on trial. Held in the Supreme Court of Berlin. Conspirators for the July 20 Plot appear before Nazi German judge Roland Freisler. The accused is Josef Wirmer stands as his name is called out. German officers and other people seated. Judge Roland Freisler seems more intent on intimidating and chastising the accused; than eliciting testimony.
