Description
The director general of the Martinique University Hospital said he feared a "surge in intensive care over the next few days", while with 2,260 positive cases and five deaths between 12 and 18 July, Martinique has entered the 4th wave of the Covid-19 epidemic. "We are really on figures that we have never known before, with an incidence rate that is now 625, whereas it was 270 at the time of the third wave, at the worst of the crisis," said Olivier Coudin, deputy director of the Regional Health Authority.
