Description
British conductor Simon Rattle, who will conduct Wagner's Tristan and Isolde at the Aix-en-Provence Opera Festival, reflects on the uncertainty caused by Covid-19 for the London Symphony Orchestra (LSO). The festival is due to start at the end of June and orchestra members travelled well in advance to comply with Covid quarantine requirements. Rattle says Brexit is also proving a challenge, but that the orchestra is doing its best to work with new restrictions. IMAGES AND SOUNDBITES
