FILE IMAGES of the statue of Jean-Baptiste Colbert, the man behind a legal decree that defined the conditions of slavery in the French colonies. Franco Lollia, spokesman for the Anti-Negrophobia Brigade, has been fined 500 euros for defacing the statue at the National Assembly in June 2020. FILE IMAGES
