Seoul's seniors were given the green light to get their groove back on Thursday after authorities eased year-long restrictions on a number of group activities. Dancing, singing and yoga for the over 60s are slowly coming back to community centres across the city as South Korea continues its vaccination drive. Dozens of vaccinated women donned their masks and their dance shoes Thursday at a senior facility in central Seoul, among the first to welcome back group exercise with friends. Groups for both dance and yoga sessions for senior citizens are capped at 20 people, just 30 percent of the regular number of attendees before the program was cut over 12 months ago.
