"We are obviously going to challenge this indictment", says French Justice Minister Eric Dupond-Moretti’s lawyer Christophe Ingrain, at the end of a hearing lasting nearly six hours. Dupond-Moretti has been accused of taking advantage of his position as minister to settle scores with opponents from his legal career. He is France's first sitting justice minister to be charged in a legal probe.
