President Joe Biden visited the Miami area to grieve with family members of people killed or missing in a collapsed Florida beachfront apartment building as the rescue efforts were forced to come to a temporary halt due to unsafe conditions. Edith Shiro, a volunteer Psychologist that attended the meeting, says that the president "connected very well with the suffering and the pain" of the families and was also "very sensitive to the sadness that was in the room".
