Palestinian police prevent demonstrators from gathering ahead of a planned protest against the Palestinian authority following the death of an activist, in the West Bank city of Ramallah. Nizar Banat, a 43-year-old from Hebron known for social media videos deploring alleged corruption within the Palestinian Authority (PA), died end of June week shortly after security forces stormed his home and violently arrested him, his family said.
