Description
South Korea on Wednesday reported the second highest daily number of confirmed cases since the pandemic. The country reported 1,212 new Covid 19 cases on July 7 while the figures were 746 on Tuesday, 711 on Monday and 743 on Sunday. The sudden surge of new cases came amid Seoul's extension of distancing curbs, in which citizens are forbidden to drink outside after 10 pm.
