An emergency room doctor at Dakar's Fann Hospital says the hospital is "overwhelmed" by the influx of Covid-19 patients, many of whom have to be turned away because the hospital's beds are already full. Babacar Diop considers the situation in Senegal - which has seen an explosion of cases in the past few weeks - as "catastrophic" and says the data provided does not reflect the reality of the number of people infected and dying from the virus.
