WIth a keen nose for the coronavirus, Pokaa, a two-year-old golden retriever, detects positive cases at La Roselière nursing home in the Alsace region, a first in France. "These dogs have the ability to detect the virus about 48 hours before PCR tests on asymptomatic people," explains the director of "Handi'chiens", an organisation that trains and provides assistance dogs.
