The streets of Oren are all but deserted after Turkish rescuers evactuated hundreds of villagers by sea. The decision came after a deadly wildfire engulfed the outer edges of a thermal power plant storing thousands of tonnes of coal. But some residents have chosen to stay behind and wait out the crisis.
