Milton Arcia, member of right-wing Constitutionalist Liberal Party (PLC) announced his resignation as presidential candidate in the Nicaraguan elections. The resignation is to protest against the disqualification of opposition party CxL (Ciudadanos por la Libertad) from upcoming presidential polls, which came after PLC indicated it would be willing to collaborate with the government and alleged the CXL was breaking the law.
