Members and supporters of the German Green party gather in Hildesheim to support chancellery candidate Annalena Baerbock at her first campaign meeting for the 26 September parliamentary elections. An INSA poll released on Monday 9 August gives the Greens 17.5% of the vote, as does the Social Democrat SPD party. Angela Merkel's CDU/CSU is credited with 25.5% of the vote. IMAGES AND SOUNDBITES
