"We're happy that our schools have started and we can continue our studies," says a girls' school student in Afghanistan's third-biggest city Herat after the Taliban swept back to power. The director of the school says it reopened on Monday and students are attending class while adhering to the Islamic hijab as required by the Taliban for women.
