Description
During a visit to Marseille, French Justice Minister Eric Dupond-Moretti welcomes the implementation of the reform of the juvenile criminal justice code which is due to come into force on 30 September. According to the minister, it should speed up proceedings and enable guilty decisions to be reached "in 10 days to three months maximum" as opposed to "15 to 18 months" currently. SOUNDBITE
