Algeria has announced the severing of diplomatic relations with neighbouring Morocco, accusing the kingdom of "hostile actions" towards Algiers after months of heightened tensions between these two Maghreb countries with traditionally difficult relations, a decision "unilateral" denounced as "unjustified" by Rabat.
