Description
The first Bundeswehr soldiers land at Wunstorf base near Hanover, Germany, after their evacuation mission in Afghanistan. Three military aircraft (an Airbus A310 of the German Air Force and two A400M military transporters) were used for the soldiers' return flight to Germany. They took off from Tashkent, Uzbekistan, where the airlift was organised to evacuate German nationals and local Afghan personnel, among others.
