China says that its embassy in Afghanistan is in "normal operations" and repeats its hopes that the Taliban will establish an "open and inclusive" political structure. The foreign ministry spokesperson also said China does not comment on the domestic affairs of Japan when asked about the resignation of Japan's Prime Minister Yoshihide Suga, but urges Japan to "avoid sending any wrong signals to the Taiwan independence forces."
