Description
Patients from the University Hospital of Guadeloupe, in Pointe-à-Pitre, are being evacuated to mainland France to help take the pressure off hospitals struggling with the weight of covid cases. Since the beginning of the fourth wave, 52 medical evacuations have been carried out to relieve the various departments, according to the Regional Health Agency.
