California-based academic Vivek Wadhwa says the outcome of the trial of fallen biotech star Elizabeth Holmes, whose multibillion dollar start-up Theranos crashed in a blaze of fraud claims, "will put the fear of government into the hearts of Silicon Valley's most powerful investors".
"This is the first time you have the CEO of a hot technology company possibly going to jail," the academic adds ahead of the trial's opening arguments on Wednesday. SOUNDBITES
