White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki says the Taliban was "cooperative" in facilitating the latest evacuation of US nationals from Afghanistan, adding that the US "had to work with some members of the Taliban to press them and to work in a businesslike manner." Just over 100 passengers, including Americans, left Kabul airport and landed in Doha, Qatar, on the first flight carrying foreigners out of the Afghan capital since a US-led evacuation ended on August 30.
