Mighty Buildings is an California-based company that creates 3D-printed homes entirely printed by machines at an affordable price. Company co-founder Sam Ruben says that one of their big advantages is being able to deliver units faster and at a lower cost than traditional builders. "Originally I wasn't looking for a 3D-printed house, I was just looking for an in-law unit for my parents to live in and I actually went through the process, hired an architect (...) and I got sticker shock at how expensive it was," says Chris Mcgougan, who now owns a Mighty Buildings 3D-printed home in his backyard, for his parents to live in.
