"For the moment, my state of mind is not to appeal," says Jérome Lavrilleux, deputy manager of Nicolas Sarkozy's campaign in 2012, after being sentenced to three years in prison, one suspended, for breach of trust in the so-called "Bygmalion" case. Lavrilleux, along with Sarkozy, is accused of setting up or benefiting from a fake billing scheme to hide the excess spending which funded a blitz of lavish US-style election rallies. SOUNDBITE
