Animal rights activists protest outside the Senate against the new version of the bill against animal abuse, voted in January by the National Assembly. The new draft, which was debated in the Senate for two days, removes the ban on the sale of domestic animals in pet shops and the presence of wild animals in circuses and zoos, which animal rights groups call "sabotage".
