French Foreign minister Jean-Yves Le Drian affirms during a press conference held at the end of his tour at Dubai Expo 2020, that France's relations with the United Arab Emirates' is a strategic and close one.
The European parliament called for a boycott of the six-month world fair, criticising the UAE’s human rights record and "inhumane" practices towards immigrant labourers.
