Taiwan President Tsai Ing-wen and her cabinet ministers officiate the start of a light show at the Presidential Office Building ahead of National Day on October 10. This year's theme, titled "The Pursuit of Democracy, Taiwan Engages the World", is meant to showcase and celebrate the island's democratic and human rights achievements to the world.
