Irish finance minister Paschal Donohoe announces that the Republic will back plans for a global 15 per cent rate of corporation tax, ending its holdout position against OECD led reform efforts. Speaking in Dublin, Donohoe says Ireland has accepted it will raise its low 12.5 per cent rate which since 2003 has lured large tech and pharma firms to the county.
