Refile of an interview with the 2021 Nobel Peace Prize laureate Dimitri Muratov, who along with Maria Ressa of the Phillipines was honoured "for their efforts to safeguard freedom of expression, which is a precondition for democracy and lasting peace". The interview was conducted in March 2021, after CCTV footage captured a man spraying an unknown substance on the front door of the offices of Novaya Gazeta, Russia's leading independent newspaper, of which Muratov is the editor-in-chief.
