Several thousand demonstrators have taken to the streets in Rome to protest against the use of the health pass, which will become mandatory in all workplaces from 15 October. Introduced in August for museums, sporting events and indoor restaurant meals, the health pass includes either a vaccination certificate, proof of recovery from Covid-19 or a negative test.
