Description
An Iranian opposition group has filed a complaint with Scottish police for human rights abuses and genocide allegedly committed by Iran's President Ebrahim Raisi. Hossein Abedini, a member of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI) coalition of opposition parties, says at a press conference that Raisi has to be held accountable for taking part in the massacre of around 30,000 political prisoners in 1988. The NCRI called for Raisi, a hardline cleric elected to office in August, to be arrested if he travels to Glasgow to attend the UN climate change summit from October 31. IMAGES AND SOUNDBITES
