Lusail Stadium, the 80,000-capacity venue that will host the FIFA World Cup final in December 2022, around 20 kilometres north of Qatar's capital Doha will be, once completed, the eighth and final tournament venue to be built or redeveloped by Qatar's Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy. "The stadium can host up to 85,000 or 86,000 spectators. 80,000 of those would have a total unobstructed view of the field of play", says project manager for the Lusail Stadium Tamim el-Abed.
