Peter Chekijian, the owner of a small brewery on Long Island, New York, is facing the same issue as many US employers -- a shortage of workers. Recruiting employees has become a difficult task as American workers are being more selective following the pandemic's outbreak. More than 10 million jobs remained unfilled as of the end of August, according to government data. "There are still a number of constraints that are weighing on labor supply," says Gregory Daco, Chief US Economist at Oxford Economics.
