Leaders of the eight Nordic countries (Denmark, Faroe islands, Finland, Greenland, Iceland, Norway, Sweden and Åland) announce their aim to be the world's pioneers in transitioning to green energy. 'Climate and the green transition need to be a priority' says Danish Prime minister Mette Frederiksen during the Nordic council held in Copenhagen.
