Description
Sweden's ruling Social Democrats have elected finance minister Magdalena Andersson the new head of the party, putting her on track to be the country's first woman prime minister - a source of pride 'for both the left and the right', says political commentator Anders Lindberg. He adds that while people might expect Andersson to be 'held back' as a politician, she is 'direct' and 'quite tough' and will seek to set her government apart from that of her predecessor Stefan Lofven, who announced his resignation in August.
