Description
Lecturer at the University of Bath in the United Kingdom, member of the Climate Psychology Alliance and co-author of a recent study on climate anxiety Caroline Hickman discusses the impacts that fears for the future of the planet are having on children and young people. "Children and young people are saying things to me like: 'Oh, what's the point in going to school? What's the point in going to university? Because there won't be a future'," she says. This video is part of a global AFP series, from London to Lagos to southern Bangladesh, looking at young people's anxieties around climate change and the future of the planet. SOUNDBITES
