Description
"The climate crisis is to me mental stress, trauma and nightmare," says Sohanur Rahman, the 24-year-old Bangladeshi founder of the Youthnet for Climate Justice group. "It’s also to me saline water, hot weather and disrupted education."
Rahman, who lives south of the Bangladeshi capital Dhaka, says his role in fighting climate change is to draw attention to it, mobilise young people and "amplify their voices".
This video is part of a global AFP series, from London to Lagos to southern Bangladesh, looking at young people's anxieties around climate change and the future of the planet. IMAGES AND SOUNDBITES
