"These elections are a totally clean process, a process that the Sandinista National Liberation Front (FSLN) has demonstrated since its beginnings in 1979," says Francisco Silva Velasquez, a supporter of Nicaraguan President Daniel Ortega, who has jailed many of his opponents before the presidential election.
