Three migrants were attacked and robbed by a group of Polish people, according to volunteers from the non-governmental organisation Grupa Granica who spotted them by the side of the road near the border town of Hajnowka. Marysia Zlonkiewicz from the NGO network, who brought tea and soup for the migrants, said that one of the three, a man, had been badly injured in the head and was losing consciousness before he was taken away in an ambulance called by police who were also at the scene. The group were initially believed to be Syrian, but it was later confirmed the group consisted of one Syrian man, and a couple from Iraq, with the Iraqi man being taken to hospital.
