Cuban artists comment on the situation of the political crisis on the island, on the 22nd Latin Grammys red carpet. Cuban musician Gonzalo Rubalcaba says: "Today, we are seeing a determination that we had not seen before, from many Cuban people". The anthem of this summer's protests in Cuba, "Patria Y Vida" (Homeland and Life), snagged the tin Grammys gramaphone for top song and best urban song, after soundtracking the wave of protests that shook Cuba in July.
